How to do a Clown Face
Step 1: Cover
the face in a white cream makeup (which comes in the clown makeup kit) with a
sponge. Then you should 'set' the makeup with a translucent makeup powder
(baby powder works fine if you don't have a translucent powder). You can
use powder puff or a blush brush. You don't need to use very much, just do
a very light dusting. This will stop the makeup from rubbing off
everywhere as this makeup tends to be messy.

Step 2:
The eye makeup can be any colour. The simplest way to create a clown eye is to
create the eyelid in either the shape of a semi circle or a triangle above the
top of the eye and then the same pattern underneath. The makeup on the eyelid
should go above the brow. You can draw in eyebrows on top if you want or just
use the eyelid makeup. You can also use a variety of colours on the eyelids to
give it a very fun affect. Set the eyes using the same powder that you used to
set the white base (see step 1).

Step 3: The
lips are very exaggerated and should go out much farther than the natural lip.
A bright red (provided in the clown makeup kit) works very well. Usually the
lips are very round on both the top and bottom two half moons on top and one on
the bottom. Set the lips in the same manner you set the face and the eyes
(see step 1). For
the cheeks you can either do a line from the lips right to the cheek and then do
a red round circle on the apple of each cheek, or not attach them and just do a
circle on each cheek. These can be very dramatic. Set the cheeks as well.

Step 4:
Create a red nose, with the red makeup, although you probably have a red nose to
put on.
